Inner Harmony Wellness Center
offers patients the well-rounded benefits of integrative
medicine. Based in science and tradition, the integrative
program provides whole person, relationship-based health
care using a multi-disciplined, team-based approach.
This approach promotes personal empowerment and responsibility
to attain optimal health.
Patients come to Inner Harmony
either through referrals from their primary care providers,
self-referral for the center's ala carte menu or through
a direct appointment through our medical providers.
We work closely with the community, physicians and insurance
providers in handling referrals to best serve the patients.
Based on a partnership between
patient and practitioner, integrative medicine delivers
the best medicine practices of a cohesive balance of
conventional, alternative and complementary therapies
in a personalized and responsive approach to health
care, healing and well being. Committed to improving
total wellness, Inner Harmony offers programs and services
dedicated to assessing and treating the medical, nutritional,
physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients.
The primary goal of integrative
medicine is to maximize the patient's ability to experience
optimal health and well being, tapping into the interrelationship
between the mind, body and spirit to concentrate on
the root causes of disease and changing health needs.
Customized treatment plans are
developed for each patient by our clinical team, along
with a variety of professionals on staff. Patients and
practitioners share the responsibility of healthcare
at our Center. Our approach is that patients have the
right to improve and manage their own health, relying
on their own instincts and natural healing methods to
help prevent illness and maintain optimum well-being.
Practitioners thoroughly explain
and discuss recommendations and programs in order for
patients to have a deciding factor in taking charge
of their health.
Founded in 1997 by Peter Amato,
a pioneer in the field of integrative medicine, Inner
Harmony Wellness Center represents one of a growing
number of centers transforming the delivery of health
care into a patient-oriented process that empowers the
integration of mind, body, spirit and community in health
